Hi, how to get from London Paddington to Isle of Wight? Is it a nice place for a romantic getaway?

    Skip across London to Waterloo, get the train to Portsmouth Harbour, jump on the ferry or hovercraft across to the IoW. Its is lovely over there, a little like the land that time forgot (thankfully).
