Can I travel overseas British Islands with my British student visa?

I’m looking forward to traveling around in the UK so I was just wondering if I could also go to some overseas British Islands.

    What like the Isle of Wight? Lived here all my life and we never needed anything to get us on the mainland or back to the island. So in short yes you can but it won't be checked at all. Only as proof of age if you wish to buy any alcohol or tobacco. Oh, and it's not Euros either so don't worry about exchanging cash (pull that joke on mates a lot).

    There are no internal controls on visiting any UK islands. You could even visit Northern Ireland.

    It would not cover any islands outside the UK though.
