i am moving to the uk Southampton from south Africa any advice?

    Southampton is a reasonable city. It has good road and rail links to London and other parts of UK. It has a small airport serving domestic and International destinations. There are ferries to the Isle of Wight (good for holidays) It has two shopping malls. One of them very large and modern. It has a good university. It is adjacent to the New Forest National Park. It has a range of housing areas. Everything from modern estates to ancient houses. There are rough areas (St Mary's) and rich areas (Bassett). It's famous as the birthplace of the Supermarine Spitfire. A lot of Polish people have moved into the city. There are also quite a few white Zimbabweans. Welcome!
