im meeting a friend from birmingham, i live in southampton and I don’t know where we can meet. its for a week, he wants the sea but it has to be somewhere we can both get too, its kind of like a holiday for both of us, please could someone help much appreciated x

    There are direct trains from Birmingham New Street to Southampton Central.     Southport or lytham in lancashire are really nice places. Lots do do in southport especially and both have great beaches. I would have said blackpool but it,s a dump IMO.
