Intensive Windsurfing in the UK?

I have taught snowboarding the last couple of seasons and once tried windsurfing on a holiday for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. When I got back it was getting towards the end of summer and didn’t manage to organise anything but wondered if there were any intensive windsurfing courses in the UK so that you can then teach anywhere in the world. I’m from Cambridge so the closer the better. Thanks.

  1. The uksa offer intensive watersports training courses up to instructor level. They are based in cowes on the isle of wight so its quite far from cambridge but accomidation is included so you wouldnt need to travel. i think at least part of the course is based in greece or ejypt. http://www.uksa.org/career/watersports/watersports-course-navigation.asp

I’ve seen a lot in the lake district in England. Newquay, Cornwall seemed to have some good windsurfing too, the progressed riders were catching some pretty good waves. I saw a lot in Scotland as well but that’s probably a little to far out of reach. Could always come to California, it’s everywhere.
