I live on the isle of wight and the nearest dining out place is in southampton, is there anywhere on the island available…thanks

    You must know Ventnor! Then try 'Hillside' at 151 Mitchell Ave, a hotel restaurant. Exceptional food for a small place, one sitting and a 7pm start and the chef decides what you eat! Superbly cooked and also a very good wine list. The staff and owners are very welcoming, Swedish i think, the place is recommended. The stuffed veal is the best dish in my opinion.
