london to isle of wight?

I’m trying to go for the IOW festival in june .. how could I get over there from london ? how much is a flight ? any information welcome!

    There is no airport on The Isle od Wight.You will need to take a train down to Portsmouth or Southampton and hop on the ferry. You can get a rail ticket which includes the ferry,but from what I recall its not cheap.The water between the mainland and the Isle of Wight is apparently the most expensive piece of water to cross in the world.
