What are the best albums by The Who for someone who likes trippy, experimental types of music?

    Give a listen to: Live @ the Isle of Wight Festival. A 2 cd set that starts off w/classic songs (Can't Explain, Young Man Blues), then goes into all of Tommy and ends w/more classic tunes (Magic Bus, Summertime Blues). I LOVE this cd! Also try (other than the well known albums): The Who Sell Out Live at Leeds Meaty Beaty Big & Bouncy (1st greatest hits compilation)

    I would go with Tommy, for trippy music, especially the song “Sparks.” Also, The Who By Numbers is great. My personal favorite album is Quadrophenia, it’s the best sounding, and a real display of the talent of this band.
